HallowGivingMas

If I was a neat, organized person, I would have a schedule for when I posted on here. If I was 'said' neat person, I believe I would know where I put pencils, water, and the ice cream container I just had in my hand a minute ago. But...I'm not. So that's why it's been about two months since my last post. I wish I could say that I'll become more organized, but I find my love of randomness pushing that request out of the way.
I've been trying to think of anything exciting that's happened, which I'm sure is a lot of things, but all my schoolwork-destroyed mind could conjure up was holidays.

 Halloween
This past Halloween was the day I swore myself to no more candy. The next day I laughed off that absurd notion and stuffed myself full of Snickers and Twix and chocolate-y goodness. It actually took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to be. Past years I had been a witch, a bride, and my favorite...Jessie.
But this year, I knew I needed to break out the big guns. I needed to be scary. After tossing aside the option of dressing up as my grandmother (oh, she knows I love her) I finally got an idea. After deciding that one sucked, I found out the perfect costume. A skeleton - Well, at least the face part.
I remember on Twitter saying, 'So tonight, I'll either look like a legit creature of the night...or a skeleton hobo. Can't go wrong either way.'
I'm glad to say I didn't look like a hobo.
So my family and I went up to College Corner to my grandma's. I helped with handing out candy. I remember one kid walking up with socks attached to him, and in my excitement I yelled, "Are you laundry?!?!?"
Now, I don't blame him for giving me a look of disgust and saying, "I'm static cling."
Needless to say, when a girl walked up with clothes making up her costume, I asked (proudly) if she was static cling. She stared for a second like "?" and said, "Uh, no. Laundry."

I handed off the bowl to Jon and decided to go inside and watch cartoons.

 Thanksgiving
I spent Thanksgiving this year with my grandparents on my dad's side of the family. It was the usual

Now
So right now it's 22 days until Christmas. Dad just put up the Christmas lights. On Thanksgiving night, we put up the tree.
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the snow because
  1. Making Snowmen
  2. Snow days
  3. Snow days
  4. Getting off of school
  5. Which technically counts as snow days
But right now it's Friday night and you know what that means...
So thank you for reading this. It's a relief to finally blog again.

The Art of Chocolate Pudding

I'm sure you clicked on this thinking, 'The art of chocolate pudding? This sounds interesting! How can chocolate pudding be art?' Well, let me tell you something. I'm sure it can be art, but I thought of the title for this blog post while I was swinging. It was after I had just eaten some chocolate pudding that was so amazing. So, I guess what I'm saying is that there really is no significance to the title...But since it most likely got you curious about this post, it's done it's job. (P.S. - Chocolate pudding rocks.) (P.P.S. - Make chocolate pudding art for next post.)
So, Homecoming. Quite fun, actually. While I can't dance, I had fun jumping up and down. But the best part of that day was when my friend showed up at the door with this:
Okay, so she's walking up with this guitar case and I'm thinking, 'Don't freak out.' because I was imagining this scenario where I got all excited and they were like "Ummm...we just wanted to show you the guitar..." Awkward, right?
Anyway, so she hands me the thing and I'm freaking out (on the inside). It was one of those speechless moments where you think how awesome your friend is. And then she throws a water bottle at you...(P.S. -Fly Conan in from wherever he is...Maybe bribe him with chocolate pudding art???)
So today, I wore my trusty Mickey Mouse shirt. What people at school didn't see was my amazing new Mickey Mouse notebook. (I didn't wanna make them jealous).

I was just walking around like:
So, I'm thinking about dying my hair again. Some of you may say, "Again??? It was dyed before???"
Well, yes. Yes it was. The first time I dyed it I made the color darker brown. Last time I made it black. This time, I think I might dye my hair black and put some blue streaks in it.
Sometime I'd like to dye my hair all purple. Maybe like that.
While it might look ridiculous, it might turn out awesome. And the color would fade anyway. I still want to wait to do it, though. I want to try the blue streaks first. (Oh, and mom, if you're reading this...Awesome color, right???)
So tomorrow I'm going up to Richmond to the eye specialist. Last time I went, they said the pressure in my eyes had gone down and that I didn't have to go to the specialist in Indianapolis. So I'm going to miss part of school tomorrow (Darn, I was so wanting to go...) (Oh, mom, if you're reading this, that was sarcasm).
Hopefully by the next time I blog, I'll have a song ready on electric guitar.
~ Two Years Later ~
Blog Reader: Look, Mom! She finally learned a song! Hurrah!

I'm just kidding, it won't be two years *shifty eyes*. I actually want to learn Monster by Paramore on guitar. So far, I've plucked two strings on my guitar. Progress, people. Progress.
So now, this insanely short blog post is over because I want cake. (It's my dad's birthday. 38's not old...for trees).

I wish I had a good excuse as to why my last blog post was in July...but I don't. So hello! I'm sure you're all jumping with joy that I'm blogging again. (Who uses that? "Jumping with joy")
Anyway, right now I'm watching Eclipse with mom. And yes, I can hear you groaning. Dad just walked in and called us 'Twilight Freaks'.
I'm trying to remember all that's happened since I last posted.
 Let's see...*cue thought face*
Oh yeah...The last Harry Potter movie came out in July.
*sniff, sniff* I went with Cody to the movies and it was 2 hours and something minutes of mind blowing awesomeness. The whole way there Cody and I were freaking out and cracking jokes and anticipating the movie. I'm not ashamed to say that when it first started, I teared up a little.
I know I cried at certain spots and I'm glad there were only a few other people in the theater. It was just so amazing and if you haven't seen it yet, do so.
And now, for the not-so-awesome/kind of alright stuff. School started last month. *gag face* My schedoodle is
1st period: Business (We don't do much so it's alright. And since there are computers there, one of my friends showed me the game 'Amateur Surgeon'
where you...well, I think the name explains it. Overall, a productive class.)
2nd period: Algebra 2 (Nothing's organized and no one, especially the teacher, knows what they're doing.)
3rd period: Spanish (The only words that have stuck are 'hola' and 'si'.)
~Lunch~ I've got two (sometimes three) of my friends in it so it's all good.
 4th period: English
 5th period: Chemistry
6th period: Adult Roles (Teaches you the stuff you should already know when you're three. Also known as "A Filler Class".)
7th period: Drawing (Love the class. I drew a bird that probably looked like a 3 year old drew it; meanwhile, the others were drawings foxes and tigers majestically emerging from their habitat. But I still love it.)
~And then the bell rings and I go home.~
  *Skip forward to August 16th*
 a.k.a. My birthday.
Mom and Dad got me a *drum roll* webcam! This is exciting because
1) IT'S A STINKIN' WEBCAM!!!
2) I don't have to use a camera that barely/never really works.
3) I can 'web chat' with Jessica whenever I feel like it (well, not like at one in the morning but I'd like to try that sometime)
4) I can finally put up a high quality video of me playing guitar (like the one at the end of this post)
It's funny because when I got the webcam, they had a set of rules (you know, general parenting rules) that went along with it.
 The Rules of the Webcam
  • Don't talk to random hobos on Skype
  • Don't give out information so they can come over and party and be on the news with the headline 'Raddest Party of the Year! Woot! Woot!'
  • Don't take off any clothing (well, darn. That ruined my plans for this webcam. *heavy sarcasm*)
There was some other stuff, probably, but those were the ones that stood out to me. Good things will come from this webcam, I assure you.
I regret to inform you that I've broken my swing again. Well, kind of. It's more like I was swinging and listening to my MP3 and I felt myself fall back a little *and causing a mini heart attack*. I jumped off quickly and looked to find that a hook had broken and it was barely holding together. I would like to thank gravity for endlessly finding ways to maim me on my swing. But, rest assured! Dad will fix it.
So I'm still waiting to watch the scary movie with my family. We're going to watch Amityville Horror. Hopefully, this won't keep me up at night wondering why that shadow looks like a mass murderer with a chainsaw.
Labor Day's tomorrow. You know what that means?
*Random Dude* "Buy one get one free at WalMart?"
 Who let you in here?!?!?!
Anyway...no. It means NO. SCHOOL. Thank you Labor Day. I applaud making the school's observe your awesomeness.
Moving on, then. I got some money for my birthday so I went to *surprise, surprise* the mall. I got some skinny jeans from Kohl's-
Crowd: Gasp! Skinny jeans, you say?
Why, yes. Skinny jeans. The last time I tried them on was last year in Walmart. They looked alright, but not great. I went back into the dressing room and almost knocked over the whole building trying to get them off. Anyway, skip ahead to a week ago at Kohl's. I tried them on thinking that my body type would not accept the skinny jeans. But they actually looked really good.
(Now all I want to wear is skinny jeans. I'll have to get another pair.)
We went to Hasting and I was going to get a unicorn hat, but they were all out. I found something even better...A monkey hat.
So then I went to, of course, Hot Topic. I got a Black Veil Brides shirt. (Now I have 1 Black Veil Brides shirt, 2 My Chemical Romance shirts, and 1 Demon Hunter shirt.)
Friday, mom took me up to Richmond's Eye Center. I was so happy because I've been on this water pill for the last three weeks and they told me the pressure in my eyes has gone down. (It was around 203 in one eye but it's gone down to around 160). I have to say I almost cried hearing that. Now all I have to do is keep taking my water pill and I don't have to go up to Cincinnati to go see a specialist anymore. (Can you say a blessing?)
Anyway, that Friday Jessica came over. This is pretty much how it went.
"Hey!" "Hi!" Turn on computer. Facebook. Youtube. Conan junk. Facebook. Commenting on people/what they put on status. Pizza. T.v. Ice cream. Facebook. Youtube. Devastation at reading that My Chemical Romance's fill-in drummer (Michael Pedicone) stole from the band and is gone (I went into shock, anger, denial, anger, numbness, why?!?!?! why?!?!??!? why???!?!?, and just ended up glad he was gone because he creeped me out). Then I halfway failed at drawing her but it still turned out pretty well.
Which now leads up to mom and I watching Eclipse. Right now I think it's 3/4 of the way through it. Mom's folding laundry and commenting about how if Edward had just gone and 'done it' with Bella instead of waited till marriage, Bella would've been on Teen mom...With her baby vampire? Ratings would shoot through the roof.
 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
So now it's Sunday. (I didn't have enough time to finish this yesterday.)
Today Aunt Beth took me, Mom, Cody, and Jon to Wally World and J's. We played in their little arcade building and I mostly used my quarters on picking the music. We played mini golf. Mom, Cody, and I rode on the slick track (my absolute favorite). Mom kind of putted around the course...
Then we went on the normal track. But then...*suspensful music*...We went on the Nascar Track. Now, I'd never been on it before, and I was kind of freaking out. But it was actually really fun.
On another note, I can't believe how cold it's gotten. The other day it was in the hundreds, and today I was shivering. But I'd rather have this than it being 'I want to fry your brain' hot. Fall is the most amazing part of the year (Halloween, perfect weather, leaves changing colors).
Which brings me to another thing. I've told my friend that I'm going to homcoming (shocking, I know). Mom has informed me that when she was in high school, Homecoming consisted of going to the football game and then going to the dance in what you went to said game in. Jeans and a shirt. How simple is that? But now, everyone wants to make a big hooblah about it and get all fancied up in a dress. I guess what I'm saying is that it would be so much simpler to just where jeans and a tee. But I'll have to wear a...dress. And dance.
I'll tell you guys how it goes when I get there.
And now...the moment you've all been waiting for (hopefully)...MY GUITAR VIDEO.
Sing - My Chemical Romance (Acoustic Cover)
Here's the real video/song of what I'm covering.
I was about to sing on my cover, but backed out at the last second. Maybe next time, though, because just playing the guitar seemed a little boring. I've got stuff to do so that's all folks. See ya!

 Alex Reads Twilight
You may be repulsed by Twilight, but don't click away. If you love to laugh, (whether you love Twilight, hate it, or don't care either way) you have to watch this video. It's hilarious. Alex is a quality dude. Okay, done ranting now.

You know how I said I'm going to watch a scary movie with my family? Welp, I believe we have it narrowed down to:
And
Just kidding, just kidding. We haven't decided on anything yet. So...If you have any suggestions you can comment below.
Anyway, I haven't blogged in awhile and I actually have a good excuse this time. I had to go to the hospital to get a Lumbar Puncture so they could get some fluid out because I have Papilladema (pressure with my eyes). And then I had to rest and all that. (thanks for everyone's prayers).
So I'm fine now. ...But speaking of eyes...Guess who got contacts? Moi. This is my fourth day wearing them, and I had mixed feelings about them at first. I loved not having to wear glasses all the time, but it took awhile to get them out. The truth is, I kept thinking they were going to get stuck in there forever and the eye doctor would have to laser them out. (As you can see, I have an over-active imagination). So now it's getting easier to wear contacts and take them out.
Along with the contacts, I'm getting new glasses. I believe they're purple-ish ones. (It's been a week, you can't expect me to remember them.) But I think I'll really like these glasses.
Okay, enough with the eye stuff. The other day my family and I went to the mall. I was armed with twenty bucks. So, I went to Hot Topic and saw that they were having an awesome sale. Usually I would have only been able to get one thing from there, but I got three amazing things. (No bragging intended).
I got a My Chemical Romance shirt, gloves, and a raccoon hat.
Another MCR shirt, you may say? You can never have too many.
The gloves kind of look like this.
Cody got one too. He looks so happy.
Mom got a John Meyer CD from Hastings and she started dancing around the kitchen with Cody:
They had trouble dancing through the doorways...
So this town has a new WalMart. And I have to say that the one thing I really like about it is that the store has more books. There's one that's out now (Part of the Fallen series) that I need to get.
Hopefully it's at the library.
So now I think I'm going to watch Twilight (an awesomely amazing movie), eat some ice cream (with Turtle Shell), and relax. Bye!
Fall Out Boy - I Don't Care
I'm the oracle in my chest
Let the guitar scream like a fascist
Sweat it out, shut your mouth, free love on the streets
But in the alley it ain't that cheap, now.

So Mom, Dad, Cody and I are going to be watching a scary movie soon. This may not sound exciting, but this is going to be my first scary movie.
*Random Man* How can this be so???
Well, let me put it this way: The scariest thing I've ever watched is The Jonas Brother's Halloween Special and I still got scared...The shame.
To get to the point, Mom and I were watching trailers to different scary movies in my room, and we were freaking out. I had to turn my light on, because there were all these freaky things jumping out and making us scream.
The thing that just freaked me out completely were those demon things that crawled backward down the stairs with their head in a strange position. So, when we actually WATCH a scary movie, it'll be ten times worse.
Anyway, since I'm on the whole 'movie' topic, I wanted to post my favorite movies on here.

Remember Me
"Whatever you do in life will be insignificant, but it's very important that you do it. Because nobody else will. Like when someone comes into your life and half of you says you're nowhere near ready, but the other half says: make her yours forever."

The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

"What rubbish! See? That's what happens when you read all of those fanciful novels on fairy tales of yours."

Push
"How are we going to make the future unpredictable?" "By not knowing what we're going to do, until right before we do it."
"A plan without planning."

Letters to Juliet
"I don't know what a love like Juliet's feels like - love to leave loved ones for, love to cross oceans for but I'd like to believe if I ever were to feel it, that I will have the courage to seize it."

Horton Hears a Who
"And Morton, for being the only one who stood by me. Well not right by me; he hid in the bushes sending me good thoughts. He's small."
"Dude, you are a warrior poet!"

Eclipse

"This wasn't a choice between you and Jacob. It was a choice between who I am and who I should be."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (Part 1)

"Dobby never meant to kill! Dobby only meant to maim, or seriously injure!"

Kiki's Delivery Service
"You'd think they'd never seen a girl and a cat on a broom before."

Spirited Away
"Once you meet someone, you never really forget them."

Bridge to Terabithia
"Leslie Burke is right. Mind like yours wide open, you could create a whole new world.

So those are my favorite movies. I'd write more but I have nothing to talk about and it's late. So bye!

Summer

First off, I'm sorry I haven't blogged in awhile. No motivation, I guess. Second, it's my friend's birthday so...
   Happy Birthday Jessica!!!!
You're a great friend. You're funny and...that's it...(Just kidding. You're great!)
I think I was in school the last time I blogged but, obviously, it's summer now.
I've been doing driver's ed and I only have two days left of class (thank goodness). This morning was the last time I did the practice driving. I passed, so I guess it went pretty well...
  So yeah...
This July I have some things I want to do.
  • Start painting (even if I'm really crappy at it)
  • Learn some new songs on my guitar
  • Work on some drawings
  • Get some band shirts
That's the list so far, but I'll probably add to it later.
The song I want to learn on guitar the most is The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars.
I really can't think of anything to write and I have to get ready for class so I'm going to go. Bye!
